Primary Objective
To build a strong, robust, well-positioned and resourced Pacific Organisation within Aotearoa/New Zealand that provides quality and leading health and social services to support Pacific children and families.
Fonua Ola is continuing to expand our services, and we are seeking an experienced Building Financial Capability Team Leader who can lead and develop our passionate financial mentors in their work. With the support of our Senior Leadership Team, you'll empower your team to reach new heights in service delivery.
The role may also include managing an appropriate financial work caseload from time to time.
You must be able to work in a holistic wraparound service environment and be committed to continuous service delivery and improvement.
The role will be based at our Mt Albert Office.
The Building Financial Capability Team Leader's main purpose is to:

Implement the vision and mission of the Trust.
Work in collaboration with Fonua Ola services, government agencies, and the community to provide holistic support to Pacific families, children, and youth.
Provide leadership and mentoring to the BFC team.
Ensure teamwork meets Fonua Ola engagement and outcome requirements.
Complete relevant and timely reporting.

Successful candidates will have:

A qualification in financial literacy or other types of financial studies.
Relevant financial mentoring and management experience.
Leadership, networking, people, and relationship management experience.
Ability to deliver financial literacy workshops and presentations.
A clean, current driver's licence is an essential requirement.
