As a Lifeguard you are responsible for:
Providing a safe environment through proactive supervision and positive interaction with customers.Educating and enforcing pool rules.Responding to any First Aid emergencies.Ensuring our pool and the surrounding areas are always clean.We are looking to fill a permanent, full-time position.
Shifts below:
Tuesday (1.30PM-10PM), Wednesday (7.30AM-4PM), Thursday (7.30AM-4PM), Friday (1.30PM-10PM), and Saturday (9AM-5.30PM)You will be required to attend the following training dates.
Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm:
April 14th - 24th, 2025We are looking for people who are strong swimmers, dedicated to helping others.
To work as a pool lifeguard in New Zealand, you will need to hold a Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate (PLPC).
The first step in becoming a lifeguard for Auckland Council is to be able to pass this swim test.
Please only apply for this position if you feel you can:
Swim 50m breaststrokeRetrieve an object from the bottom of the poolTread water for 5 minutesWe aim to help you upskill and develop, so that you can train and take on other functions within our centres.
Other functions can include being a Recreation Assistant, Fitness Instructor and more.
If we occasionally need help in other areas such as at our front desk or general customer service, as a team member, you may be called on to cover these areas if we are short staffed or during peak periods.
