About the Role

We are seeking an experienced lifeguard to join our team at Auckland Council. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe environment for our customers and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive supervision and positive interaction with customers.
  • Educate and enforce pool rules.
  • Respond to any First Aid emergencies.
  • Ensure the pool and surroundings are clean at all times.
Requirements
  • You must be a strong swimmer and have a current Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate.
  • You will also need to hold a First Aid certificate or be willing to obtain one through training provided by us.
  • Excellent communication and administration skills are essential for this role.
  • A proven track record of providing outstanding customer service is required.
