We'd prefer that you have strong attention to detail, are comfortable with making decisions and a strong customer focus.We pride ourselves on giving our members the best experience, so you will need to be driven and a high performer.As a Claims Assessor, you'll be assessing our Member's claims accurately and in a timely manner according to policy and rules of the Society.You'll Do This ByChecking claims received contain sufficient information required for assessmentLiaising with Providers and Members to obtain additional information in an appropriate manner while adhering to the Privacy Act and maintaining Member confidentialityEntering claim information into the claims entry system and adhering to agreed accuracy and productivity standardsIdentifying anomalies in data provided by Members or Providers and following company policy to escalate any suspicious informationIdeally You'll HaveAdministrative and/or processing experience in a corporate environment involving contact with providers and/or suppliersStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAccuracy and speed at inputting dataAn ability to self-manage and plan, organise and prioritise workloadAn ability to work effectively within a team environmentStrong initiative and the ability to proactively seek information and problem solveDecision making abilityA focus on continuous improvementA willingness to be flexible and adaptable to a changing work environmentJoin a proud diverse team, that's always there, always real, always true.
