We're seeking a skilled Claims Assessor to join our team, someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to work independently, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

The Claims Assessor will be responsible for:

  • Assessing member claims for accuracy and completeness
  • Liaising with members and providers to resolve issues and clarify information
  • Entering claims information into the claims management system
  • Identifying and escalating suspicious claims activity

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Administrative and/or processing experience in a corporate environment involving contact with providers and/or suppliers
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Accuracy and speed at inputting data
  • An ability to self-manage and plan, organise and prioritise workload
  • An ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Strong initiative and the ability to proactively seek information and problem solve
  • Decision making ability
  • A focus on continuous improvement
  • A willingness to be flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment
