We also have sites in Queenstown, Hamilton, and Adelaide in which our Workforce Planning Team helps support.We are looking for a Senior Workforce Planner to provide effective and efficient Workforce Planning support services at a senior level to the business.
This individual will lead and coach our Workforce Planners in developing capability and supporting a high-performing team while maintaining the Team culture.The Senior Workforce Planner reports to the Workforce Planning Manager and operates as the subject matter expert and escalation point to resolve issues while supporting the Workforce Planners in everyday functions.Key Responsibilities:Ensure all areas of the business have sufficient support and that all operational requirements and fluctuations in staffing needs are addressed.Utilize rostering software to create efficient and effective employee schedules, considering workload, skillsets, and compliance requirements.Lead a team of workforce planning professionals, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.Use data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and make functional decisions while providing information to the business on potential issues with labour levels, costs, and compliance, quickly resolving any areas of non-compliance.Maintain a strong knowledge of NZ employment legislation.Minimum 4 years' experience in Workforce Planning/rostering.Proven leadership experience and skills.Advanced knowledge of Workforce Planning principles and processes.Advanced knowledge of Workforce Planning software.Ability to work 2pm - 10:30pm with weekday days off.Benefits:A supportive, diverse company culture.Subsidised medical insurance.$2.50 cooked meals in our staff cafeteria (with healthy salad options).Heavily discounted staff car parking.Discounts at our outlets.Free trips for you plus one, as many times as you like up the Sky Tower.At SkyCity, our career opportunities are as diverse as our workforce.
