This is a dedicated People Leadership (Home) role focused on performance, development and wellbeing, rather than direct work delivery or technical oversight, which is managed by our Work Leads.You will guide and develop a diverse group of about 20 Geospatial and Digital Specialists, manage our people's career development, wellbeing, and collaborate with Work Leads to ensure that we have the right people doing the right work.Key Responsibilities: * Leading the career development and progression of Geospatial and Digital Specialists * Ensuring the wellbeing of your people and addressing any concerns * Close collaboration with Work Leads to understand the work context of our Geospatial and Digital Specialists and supporting their performance * Contributing to the development and implementation of strategic capability initiatives * Identifying emerging capability and capacity needs within the team and across Location InformationHe pukenga tou - Skills & Experience * Strong people leadership skills, inspiring and motivating diverse teams * Proven track record of building and leading high performing teams * Experience and capability in supporting people, promoting professional growth and development via coaching * Experience with and passion for fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and positivity * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and your peersThe annual full-time appointing range for this role is $130,000 to $145,000 depending on skills and experience: Nga mea e tukuna ana e tatau – What we offer our employees * Interesting work which impacts Aotearoa as we care for whenua, moana and arawai.
