Z's goal is to make it as easy as possible for people to charge on the go as it is to fuel up today.Joining our Energy Solutions team and working across the Group (Z and Ampol) as a Kaiarahi Tuku Matamua - Aotearoa Senior Deployment Manager New Zealand is a great opportunity to bring your leadership, project execution and planning skills to a team that is making a real difference to transport solutions in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The work will encompass multiple, on-going, initiatives of varying sizes, complexity, and locations.

Let's korero.You will have the opportunity toGuide, mentor and coach a team to plan and execute Energy Solutions projects (electrical vehicle charging stations, battery and other energy solutions projects)Take responsibility for the framework and execution of our Contractor Safety Management framework and ensure Deployment Leads are also trained in the frameworkWork across and take ownership of the time, cost, quality and safety of Energy Solutions projectsPartner with the procurement function, to build and maintain a fit for purpose national, regional and local contractor base aligned to New Zealand Deployment activities and Contractor Management requirementsAct as an escalation point for project disputations and partner with the Deployment Contracts Manager to resolve and touphold contract obligationsReview and authorise the release to tender for all Scope of Works documentation and other supporting tender documentationPartner to ensure that principal contractors have met all required contractual pre-requisites in the pre-start phase and that all on-boarding and induction requirements have been reviewed and implementedQualificationsWhat you'll bring to ZDemonstrated experience and/or qualifications in an engineering discipline, preferably Construction, Mechanical or ElectricalStrong knowledge of construction planning across all phases of workLeadership experience of people and pieces of workStrong knowledge of project and programme planning encompassing financial, legal, engineering, environmental and other perspectivesKnowledge of or experience in the renewable energy industry and/or fuel forecourts or fuel hazardous zones would be advantageousA commitment to contractor safety and creating harm free work environmentsThe ability to identify and drive change and performance, through a culture of continuous improvementGuide and contribute to a multi-discipline project management teamAble to work with ambiguity in a rapid change environment and problem solve situationsRelationship skills to engage stakeholders and influence changeAnd of course, you'll be passionate about what matters to Z, embracing and living our values to help us deliver on our aspirations and broader commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand.Don't meet every single requirement?
