We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Oncologist to join our friendly team in Dunedin Hospital on a permanent basis.The Southern Blood and Cancer Service provides a team of eight Medical Oncologists and one Nurse Practitioner, five Radiation Oncologists and six Haematologists working in a tertiary referral centre with strong links to the School of Medicine at Otago University.
Dunedin Hospital is a 350-bed teaching and training institution that offers a full complement of sub-specialties and a training site for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
As such, we encourage and support staff research and their continuing medical education.
Our Service has a solid research program and we would welcome applications from Physicians with a sub-specialty interest or those with an interest in teaching.Our service provides regional care and covers the lower South Island so you would be required to participate in outreach clinics to peripheral centres.
