* Contributes to regional work programmes including providing policy advice on a wide range of kaupapa significant to Maori and Government.
* Assists in the development and management of investment proposals including those that help strengthen Maori businesses.
* Provides a range of research and analysis support to the Rohe.
Adaptable and resilient Kaitohutohu take a manaakitanga approach to their mahi.The likely appointment range is $76,022 to $84,468 based on skills and experience.
The full grade for this role is $76,022 to $101,362 per annum with a mid-point of $84,468Mou | About youWe are looking for candidates who have: * A love of korero and wananga.
Including sharing ideas with colleagues, agencies and businesses.
* Critical reasoning, numerical, communication, technology (Databases and spreadsheets) and initiative skills.
* Have a basic understanding of businesses with the drive to grow their knowledge.
* An understanding of tikanga and are comfortable working in a kaupapa Maori environment - a degree of fluency in te reo Maori is beneficial to the mahi.
* A clean, full motor vehicle driver's licence.We are open to receiving applications for candidates who have some knowledge of business and who want to make things better for their community.
