Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Kaitohutohu | Advisor to join our team. As a Kaitohutohu, you will work with stakeholders across iwi, public and private sectors to contribute to regional work programmes. You will provide policy advice on a wide range of kaupapa significant to Maori and Government.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders across iwi, public and private sectors
  • Contribute to regional work programmes
  • Provide policy advice on kaupapa significant to Maori and Government
  • Assist in the development and management of investment proposals
  • Provide research and analysis support to the Rohe

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A love of korero and wananga, including sharing ideas with colleagues, agencies and businesses
  • Critical reasoning, numerical, communication, technology (Databases and spreadsheets) and initiative skills
  • A basic understanding of businesses with the drive to grow their knowledge
  • An understanding of tikanga and a comfort working in a kaupapa Maori environment
  • A clean, full motor vehicle driver's licence
