While many of the challenges and opportunities we face go beyond national boundaries, together we have the scale, influence, and capability to deliver for our customers, communities, and our people.Our Supply team fuels our customers, literally Supply at Z Energy looks after the whole fuel supply chain and maintenance of all assets to ensure we have what we need, where we need it.We are excited to welcome a Kaitaki Hua a-Rohe Regional Asset Manager to the Z whanau. This role looks after our ki te Raki Northern region and will be based out of our Tamaki Makaurau Auckland office.In this role, the core focus will be to oversee and optimise the performance of assets within our Northern area. Z's assets portfolio is diverse and large and, in this role, covers manned and unmanned retail sites, truck stops, and client-based assets. Some travel is required in this role as you will be out and about on site to understand priorities and asset performance first hand.Taking a strategic approach to the management of these properties, you will be responsible for ensuring their maintenance, enhancement, and operation align with Z's objectives and strategy. Collaboration will be key; working closely with the wider Engineering, Assets, Supply, and Customer Teams, you will develop and deliver on asset management plans that drive growth, mitigate risks, and ensure long-term asset value.You will have the opportunity to:Develop and implement project plans, including timeframes, milestones, resources, reporting, quality, and safety standards.Contribute to the development and delivery of projects and maintenance tasks to support productivity and cost initiatives.Provide on-site technical and control of work expertise and input to ensure ongoing safe and reliable operations.Ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations including gaining agreement on scopes of work, standards, and budgets.What you'll bring to Z:Experience in trades or heavy trades would be advantageous as would knowledge of fuel system and liquid delivery systems.Engineering qualifications would be advantageous.Demonstrated experience of managing end-to-end projects including leadership, monitoring, review, and reporting.The ability to succeed in an operational environment combined with a sound understanding of planning and delivery against strategy.A focus on compliance, regulation, and risk in a high hazard environment.The relentless pursuit of goals and great outcomes with the ability to build strong relationships and influence positively along the journey.The flexibility to travel to site in your region as needed.And of course, you'll be passionate about what matters to Z, embracing and living our values to help us deliver on our aspirations and broader commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand.What we can offer you:A competitive remuneration package including short-term incentive plan, medical insurance for you and your family, enhanced employer contribution for KiwiSaver.Generous leave provisions including enhanced sick leave, parental leave benefits, and the option to buy additional leave.The balance of hybrid working, enjoy some of your week at home and some in our welcoming office space.The opportunity to contribute and be part of a supportive team that is here to make a difference.A chance to build your own capability through learning from some of the industry's most knowledgeable people who have a desire to share their insights along with access to upskilling opportunities and career development across the organisation.Two days a year to do Good in your Hood, through our volunteering scheme, a chance for you to help others in your community in a meaningful way to you.The base salary range for this role is $129,200 to $152,000 per annum, plus 15% STI based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution, and health insurance through Southern Cross.Why Z?Z has always been a proud Kiwi company.
