This is a rare opportunity to join an established, well-funded and proven renewable energy team in a high profile, high impact role.Role overviewReporting to the Senior Accountant, you will support all corporate finance and administration activities in Asia.This is an opportunity for a talented candidate to:Work in one of the fastest growing industriesJoin an international, fast-growing companyGain exposure to all aspects of financial and administration mattersJob DescriptionHandle all spectrums of Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable (Data entries, invoice processing, payments, receipts, claims and vouchers etc).Perform journal entries for various financial transactions, such as accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.Assist in month-end activities, including GL and bank reconciliations.Prepare quarterly GST report.Assist in year-end audit.Assist Accountant on all accounts related activities and responsibilities.Prepare board resolutions, minutes and any other ancillary documents.Maintain and update company database and filing systems.Assist in daily administration, office maintenance, IT matters, mails, couriers, insurance renewal and any administration requirements.Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.Perform any other tasks or projects that may be assigned.Job requirementsDiploma in Accounting or equivalentIT literate and digital savvy – In depth MS Package knowledgeFluent business English speaking and writingExcellent organisational and problem-solving skills, and ability to meet regular deadlinesStrong attention to detailAble to demonstrate initiative and judgement in carrying out day-to-day roleMulti-tasker looking for wide range of exposurePro-active, independent worker, Can-do attitude, dares to ask questions/support, takes initiativeMeticulous in documentationPersonal AttributesCan-do attitude, strategic thinker, with a passion for new products and solutionsHands-on mindset, willingness to perform all tasks in a young organisationStrong interest in international business as well as renewable energyAbility to flourish with minimal guidance and handle uncertainty and ambiguityAn outstanding level of tenacity, autonomy and driveAn independently motivated and creative individual and a good problem solver.Learning ObjectivesPreparing of financial statement.Preparing of board resolutions, minutes and any other ancillary documents.Verify invoices and purchase orders to ensure accuracy.Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy of accounts payable records.Monitor account receivables aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.Budget maintenance and forecasting.
