While we are open to applications across NZ, we have a strong preference for this role to be based in Auckland or Wellington.We value a flexible work environment and support a hybrid working model, enabling you to enjoy some work from home, ensuring we achieve work-life balance and individual preferences.Your day-to-day...Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders, serving as a trusted advisor on people-related mattersProvide comprehensive support in HR functions, addressing queries and escalating issues when necessaryGuide leaders on HR effectiveness, performance management, and team dynamicsAssist in developing workforce planning strategies and identifying continuous improvement opportunitiesFacilitate talent reviews and succession planning to assess employee readiness and development needsEnsure compliance with employment legislation and support managers in handling disciplinary mattersIdentify training needs and coordinate workshops to enhance employee skills and competenciesEvaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics to drive continuous improvementYou're a match if you ideally have...Extensive experience as an HR generalist in medium to large organizationsSolid understanding of employment legislation, including the Employment Relations Act and Holidays Act, with the ability to interpret HR policiesProficiency in supporting the entire employee lifecycle, from attraction and engagement to retention and developmentDemonstrated expertise as a reliable advisor in corporate HR, specialising in Talent Management and Performance initiativesA collaborative approach with leaders that confidently influences outcomes in People mattersStrong familiarity with HR systems and platforms, such as HRIS, ATS, and PayrollStrong interpersonal and communication skills, paired with sharp attention to detailExceptional time management skills to navigate various stakeholders and adapt to changing prioritiesCommitment to the future of HR and motivated to incorporate people insights into decision-makingWho are we?At Entain Australia & New Zealand, we're on a mission to revolutionise the world of sports and gaming venue entertainment.
