Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)We are looking for a heavy transport superstar to bring their strong leadership and networking skills to our modern Auckland Branch in the capacity of Branch Manager. This position forms part of our senior leadership team and will report to the General Manager - NZ. Along with offering previous branch management experience, we need an established leader who has buckets of energy and drive and can have a steady influence within a complex branch environment. This forward-thinking individual will be responsible for leading culture and maintaining high levels of employee engagement, while guiding and mentoring a varied workforce including a service and workshop team, a parts and warehouse team and other specialist departments. The Branch Manager will play a fundamental role in inspiring all employees to be the best they can be, all while fostering a positive and harmonious atmosphere, ensuring sales opportunities are optimised and customer service levels are second to none. This is a full-time position, 45 hours per week Monday to Friday, and comes with a generous base salary and incentives and a company car with full personal use.Our Wishlist:Prior experience in a branch management position, preferably within the heavy transport or industrial engine industriesA well-developed network with on and off-highway operators within the Auckland geographical regionExposure and understanding of corporate OEM / dealership setting expectationsProven experience managing a branch to achieve agreed sales and profitability targets in line with the operational planConfidence to develop relationships with a range of employees, customers and stakeholders, with a determination to identify and deliver on new business opportunitiesA passionate, sociable and engaging personality with proven experience managing a high-performing and technically astute teamAn understanding of and the ability to manage Health, Safety and Wellbeing in the workplaceResilience and determinationStrong financial literacy and excellent attention to detailAn iconic brand in both the business and racing worlds, the Penske organisation is a Fortune 500 company with a global presence, with over 50,000 employees.
