The Opportunity We have two amazing new opportunities for a Channel Sales Lead to join our high performing teams in the lower South Island to facilitate sales in the retail and residential markets.
The roles will look after our builder/trade customers throughout the Queenstown Lakes District and central Otago (including Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell and Alexandra) and in the Central Otago region.
You'll be working with an existing customer base with an expectation to develop and further grow our market share.
So who are we looking for? You are a well-healed sales professional, ideally from the glass industry or building/construction industry but with a twist.
We are not looking for a "run of the mill sales rep".
You:
are a hunter who enjoys making cold calls and wants to win,enjoy follow-up just as much as the cold calls and have an assertive sales process,are a trusted, confident builder of long-lasting relationships,have the confidence and are an effective communicator with people at all levels,know how to ask the right questions of the right people and can record and communicate progress, so results are able to be seen,know how the construction industry works, knows the construction sales pipeline and have the ability to learn products inside and out,have enough structure to follow a strategy, and have the ability to understand the end result we are after to work independently to achieve it while still being a team player,always have the company's and customer's needs as their number one priority,are able to listen, have empathy and be seen as a good person with integrity,are able to be trusted to hold sensitive information in confidence,are a natural problem-solver and can quickly "read a room".What's in it for you?
