We have exciting positions available across the Casino ranging from entry level to roles requiring a little more experience. Please see below a selection of the roles we currently have available.
Mo te Turanga | About the Roles Gaming Machine Attendants (Full time) - The casino is far from your typical workplace Our attendants are right in the heart of the action on the main gaming floor, ensuring that our Gaming Machine customers have a top-notch experience every time they visit. In this role, you'll be on the move, helping customers enjoy their time in the casino. Tasks include assisting with minor machine repairs (training provided), answering general queries, and supporting our host responsibility programme by promoting safe and responsible gaming. You'll also help maintain a clean and tidy area by tidying up chairs and removing empty glasses. The role involves a fair amount of walking (typically over 10km during a shift), so it's perfect for those who want to stay active while workingSecurity Officer (Full time) - A crucial job supporting the whole business, our Security Officers play a pivotal role in safeguarding the safety and security of our customers, staff, and property. As the front line of defence, you'll be the first point of contact for any arising issues, engaging in both ad-hoc challenges and daily tasks, ensuring a job filled with exciting variety. The perfect role to kick start your career in law enforcement, this role offers a diverse workplace with great skill development to progress to that opportunity down the trackCasino Cashiers (Full time & Part time) - A great job if you have worked in cash handling in the past As a cashier within our cage department, you'll be responsible for providing efficient and professional service to all our customers. You'll be working from the Cashiering window and you'll make sure our customers feel welcome when they arrive and help with any transaction request. The environment is a very busy one so the ability to multitask and think on your feet will hold you in good stead, also doing so with a positive attitude and a huge smile on your face.Responsible Gambling Hosts (Full time) - Host Responsibility is fundamental to our ability to operate as a business, and SkyCity is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all our customers and employees by ensuring our positive culture delivers excellent Host Responsibility.
