The Head of Operations is based in Auckland, however, responsible for New Zealand and Fiji.
This is a key management position and will work closely with the NZ Regional Managers and senior leaders across the Pacific to deliver Operational capability, compliance and effectiveness across NZ.  This role will also be responsible for our national specialist services encompassing Biosecurity Fumigations and Structural Birdwork and take a leading role on the integration and development of our Biosecurity Pest Management category.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and supporting a team of people across New Zealand and Fiji, you will be responsible for the following outcomes: Leading a safety culture Proactively manage service delivery to consistently meet customer contractual expectations to positively impact client retention and growth Developing, leading and managing a first-class technical, training and operational support team Creation and delivery of the NZ operational plan working closely with other Pacific and global teams Supporting the effective management of our people, P&L and operational measures Driving operational efficiencies and continuous improvement to work smarter, not harder For Brilliant Execution you will need: Business Qualification Degree / Diploma or relevant experience in delivering scaled business  A demonstrated commitment to safety and a proven track record in building a safety culture Proven Leadership capability with complex teams across multiple locations Strong operational principles and experience managing logistics, supply chain and scheduling systems Engaging leader with experience in coaching and developing team members with the willingness to be a 'hands-on' leader where required Ability to focus and have a flexible approach when faced with change, completing priorities and work demands Demonstrated commercial acumen to manage budgets and costs Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and peers Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering against targets, KPI's and cost efficiencies The ability to positively challenge the status quo and champion continuous improvement What's in it for you: Opportunity to work for a global organisation that is a leader in its industry Competitive and rewarding remuneration package Established brand and job security in an essential industry, with a long history of success and stability Recognition and appreciation Work life balance Family culture and co-workers that love what they do Ongoing coaching and development Career progression opportunities within a large global organisation with a strong track record of employee development and promotion If you are ready for the next step in your career or want a new challenge APPLY NOW
