This role involves both nurturing existing relationships whilst strategically identifying new business opportunities, engaging and connecting with prospective clients whilst supporting the sales & customer care team to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers.What's InvolvedPlanning and Market Research: Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue objectives. Conduct research to identify market trends and connect with potential clients to build your pipeline.Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders by ensuring regular communication to address client needs and enhance customer satisfaction using Salesforce to track your progress.New Business Development: Drive growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, engaging prospective clients through site visits, cold calls, and networking. Manage a well-structured sales pipeline, delivering compelling proposals and timely follow-up.Team Leadership: Mentor a small team, providing guidance, support, and feedback to drive performance. Conduct regular one-on-one's to guide the team to overcome challenges and celebrate success and individual achievements.Networking: Represent Tru-Gard at industry events to maintain a strong market presence across New Zealand.About YouYou will be a natural connector, relationship builder who instills trust in everything that you do from the start to end of a sales cycle and beyond.
