Stand at the stern of the canoe and feel the spray of the future biting at your face Mo te tunga | About the role Integrated Safety Response (ISR) is a multi-agency initiative ensuring families experiencing family violence get the help they need from Government and community services.
ISR involves core agencies working closely together to support victims, perpetrators and their families.
ISR operates in two locations, Christchurch and Hamilton.
Police is the operational lead and hosting agency for ISR, as part of Te Puna Aonui, the Interdepartmental Executive Board for the Elimination of Family Violence and Sexual Violence.
ISR operates seven days a week, so flexibility is required as you may be required to work some weekends and statutory holidays.
In this role you will manage 1 direct report and have oversight of a wider team of approximately 10 staff.
You will develop and implement the strategic aspects of a multi-agency programme.

Key Accountabilities: The purpose of leadership in this role is to lead strategic priorities for ISR and enable our people to deliver the strategy.
We are looking for someone who can: * Lead the strategic direction of ISR, with support from local ISR partners and the National ISR team.
* Ensure ISR's strategy aligns with the broader context of the Government's aims to eliminate family violence.
* Represent the ISR model to the public sector and governance.
* Create and continually develop an environment which encourages teamwork, service, Maori responsiveness, community partnership and problem solving.
* Influence the community and support change in complex environments.

Utu a-tau | Salary This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence from $153,652 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
