Business Analyst  We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work within our FMCG business in our Ellerslie office.  You will actively collaborate with team members on various financial aspects, including operating results, forecasts, budgets, and addressing ad hoc opportunities or queries. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop, implement, and maintain systems that support customer and client profitability. Responsibility: Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports in a timely manner to ensure business continuityUnderstand costings and identify and analyse variancesConduct Cost-to-Serve analysis and cost modellingProvide analytics, insights, comparisons, advice, and recommendations to support strategic initiatives aimed at achieving business targetsReport and analyse key performance indicators related to commercial investments, margins, and supply chain costs on a weekly basis to support margin improvement strategiesPrepare regular and ad hoc reports and presentations to communicate analysis findings to stakeholdersContribute to the preparation of detailed budgets and rolling forecastsMaintain active relationships with key stakeholders and ensure prompt and efficient handling of enquiriesLeadership Responsibility:  Coordinate planning and reportingAct as an active member of the Insights & Analytics communityDrive improvement projects within the teamWork with other divisions to create synergies in reporting and processesQualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification2-3 years previous experience in a Business Analyst role within the FMCG sectors requiredPrevious experience in budgeting, reporting, and analysis is essentialExcellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills are crucialStrong experience with systems such as SAP and Business Objects, as well as advanced Excel/modelling skills and Power BIProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Power PivotAbility to work effectively and independently with cross-functional and cross-divisional teamsResults-driven with a passion for achieving goalsDemonstrates end-to-end ownership of processesThis role is 40-hours per week, Monday – Friday, between 8.00am – 5.00pm, onsite in our Ellerslie office.  This is a salaried role, offering $80,000 per annum + 10% annual bonus, paid annually based on achievement of KPI's.
