The Role We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a good understanding of how systems work to manage new implementations, consult our customers about their business process, gather requirements and link it to system functionality to deliver optimised software services Your responsibilities include Gather, validate and document business requirements and create functional and technical specifications.Organise and run requirement gathering workshops effectively ensuring clear communication and understanding of business needs.Analyse commercial data such as existing customer financial and business documents and data; model business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements using our software services.Analyse system data to find opportunities for further improvements such as automation.Demo eSolutions' software to customers when necessary.Simplify information and decipher technical jargon so it is easily understood. Use both visuals, diagrams and text to cater for preferences of various stakeholders.Project management: overseeing project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and managing related project management tasks.Working closely with developers, testers, customers, and other stakeholders to guarantee high-quality releases.Assist customers in developing their own test plans and advising on their implementation.Configure software systems to meet customer requirementsMap out integration between customer and our OASIS systemsTranslate technical release notes to business language suitable for customers. Create and update user guides.Run training sessions and workshopsYou must possess the following qualities Must have experience working with business and customers directly ideally in a SaaS environmentKnowledge of accounts payable and accounting is a nice to haveA good understanding of business processes and software designs Able to clearly differentiate between business requirements from system solutionsSelf-motivated; ability to manage your time independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication skills in written and spoken EnglishThe ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects at a timeStrong problem solving and analytical skills
