Our customers are at the forefront of our thinking, and you will manage the department to delight our customers daily, with range, knowledge, and awesome customer service.
Reporting directly to the store Owner you will be accountable for: Employing up to date category management principles for deciding the stores range of product and product placement in store.Developing and implementing a store specific promotional program to complement the group promotions.Ensuring the financial targets of the department are met.Maintaining an excellent relationship with suppliers and manufacturers.Leading, training and developing departmental staff.Ensuring the stores processes, Food safety & Workplace Safety requirements are adhered to.To be successful in the position you will be able to demonstrate: Excellent organizational and communication skills.Superior analytical skills.An excellent work ethic through leading by example.An ability to act with urgency to resolve issues that will affect the customer experience.Be a team player and committed to learning.This is a permanent full time position Sunday to Thursday of 40-45 hours per week with 6 am starts.
