We are looking for an Electrical Network Designer to join our ElectroNet Contracting team based in Cromwell.In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs, maintenance, and upgrades for both overhead and underground reticulation. Your duties will include:Liaising with clients and assisting the Project Management team as requiredProviding crucial engineering and design support for our front-line staffUsing surveying techniques to collect on-site data and construction layout informationUsing engineering principles and methodology to determine the safety and performance levels of overhead line distribution componentsProducing designs that are compliant with NZ standards and appropriate network standardsAbout YouThe ideal candidate is a team player with strong decision-making abilities, integrity, self-motivation, time management skills, adaptability to change, and a commitment to ethical conduct, all while excelling in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and building positive relationships with team members.The successful candidate will have previous design experience and will have experience with Catan and/or PLS-CAD.About UsThe ElectroNet Group is proudly 100% New Zealand owned.This award-winning, multidisciplinary Group comprises the ownership and operation of electricity infrastructure, the construction and maintenance of electrical transmission and services, engineering consultancy and design professional services, along with a team which develops innovative technology for the benefit of the industry.
