About the role Are you a skilled Line Mechanic ready to take your career to the next level? ElectroNet invites you to be part of our dynamic team in the stunning town of Cromwell on a full-time permanent basis with a minimum of 40 hours per week, to be worked between Monday to Friday.
As a Line Mechanic with us, your responsibilities will include:
Undertaking electrical line construction, maintenance, and repairs for our customers.Performing routine inspections and troubleshooting power lines.Working in elevated locations and operating specialised equipment.Adhering to ElectroNet's high safety standards, policies, and procedures to minimise risks to yourself and others.Maintaining accurate records of work performed and equipment used.About You: We're seeking two individuals who are physically fit, reliable, and have a positive can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will have the following:
Hold a current New Zealand registration as a Line Mechanic or have your registration process through the overseas-trained pathway with the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) underway.3+ years of experience within the electricity distribution industry.Plant operating experience and licences (e.g., cranes, truck-mounted cranes, diggers, forklifts).Strong knowledge of safety standards.Demonstrated ability to build rapport with people.Demonstrated self-management and self-motivation with a high level of integrity and honesty.If you're passionate about the electrical industry, thrive in collaborative environments, and take pride in delivering top-notch results, this opportunity is perfect for you.
