Recently, a new operating model was established to deliver functions more efficiently and better support the Ministry to meet its statutory obligations and performance targets.As one of the coordinators in the Ministerial and Executive Services team, you'll be engaging with teams and colleagues across the Ministry, providing high-quality customer service and support.
This is an exciting opportunity to utilise your coordination skills and experience and be part of implementing a new way of working.Key responsibilities include:Managing the flow of all official correspondenceCompiling the Weekly Report for the MinisterCoordinating the Ministry's responses to coronial findings and Transport Accident Investigation Commission reportsProviding coordination support to select committee processes, including annual review and estimates.What you'll bring | Te wahi ki a koeA tertiary qualificationExperience working in a similar ministerial environment and/or knowledge in the machinery of governmentExperience in the review, design, mapping, and implementation of business processesExperience utilising working relationships to improve business practicesExperience operating in a fast-paced and changeable work environmentDemonstrated written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated proficient time management and organisational skillsDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and products.The base salary range budget for this position is $62,867 - $76,122 per annum + KiwiSaver.
