In addition to media engagement, the Media Manager will also contribute to the development and implementation of external and internal communications strategies.Ko koetenei | About youTo Be Successful In This Role, You Will BringPrevious experience working with media as an advisor or as a journalistExperience in strategic communications planningExperience in a political environment and an understanding of the political processAn understanding of how broadcast, print and on-line media operateThe ability to produce high quality contentA high standard of written and oral communication skills, including the ability to successfully present complex issues to a general audienceA sound knowledge and understanding of issues, challenges and opportunities relating to transport and infrastructure is desirable.You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori.
