The development of strategies that realise economic growth, foster a customer-focused and efficient organisational culture, and ensure robust financial management practices are also crucial.Preferred candidates will be progressive, energetic and highly influential in style.
They will have open, engaging and collaborative leadership qualities (not necessarily gained within the local or central government sectors), well developed political and intellectual acuity, and a track record of delivering impressive results.
