The Chief Executive provides strategic leadership and efficient management of all aspects of Council's activity, including organisational capability and accountability, and relationships with mana whenua, community, regional stakeholders, business, and central government.
Key Responsibilities: Developing and implementing strategies for economic growth.
Improving organisational capability and accountability.
Fostering close relationships with stakeholders.
A successful Chief Executive will be able to deliver impressive results, build trust and confidence with communities, and drive the Council's vision forward.
Required Skills and Experience: Leadership and management experience.
Strategic thinking and planning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
