The CS&IO is responsible for furnishing the Trust with insights that drive robust and efficient commercial decision making. The CSIO's specific responsibilities are to:Measure, diagnose and report the performance and risk profile of all Trust portfolio and asset performanceDeliver accurate forecasts which support the Trust in its ongoing compliance and investment capacityDeliver a suite of investment tools, frameworks and policies consistent with the Trust's objectivesOversee corporate finance activities (e.g. M&A, divestments, financing)Develop initiatives that manage risk and ensure opportunities are leveragedProvide leadership and mentoring to reports, fostering a collaborative, positive and innovative work environmentDevelop and maintain appropriate networks to access quality opportunities and access to capitalEnsure all Trust transactions, payments and journals are processed in an accurate and timely wayTo be successful in this role, you will also have:Experience at a top tier financial/investment advisory or management consultancyAppropriate business, technical or professional university qualification – Chartered Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst preferredHighly proficient user of financial analysis and modelling tools e.g. BI, complex IRR models, complex cash flow modelsExperience in driving ambitious and transformational change in financial SLAsTo thrive in our environment, you will be a strong leader of people.
