In this role, you'll drive strategic initiatives and best practices in demand planning and forecasting, ensuring alignment to meet customer needs.As a Demand Planning Manager (Chapter Lead- Demand Planning), you'll focus on capability building, defining the vision for the function, and managing and developing team members.
We're looking for a passionate leader with an open mindset, ready to empower and collaborate, shape culture, and align with the function's strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Demand Planning functionLead process transformation for Demand Planning, collaborating across teamsDevelop, mentor and coach the team of demand planning professionalsLead the design and development of Demand Planning processes, standards & routines, including Demand Review & associated Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and tools across Air NZLead the evaluation and implementation of advanced digital demand planning tools and systems, ensuring alignment with the Planning Lead's strategyAbout you:Extensive experience in Demand Planning and supply chain management within a complex environment, with a strong focus on S&OPProven experience leading and managing high performing teamsThe ability to lead change management across planning functions and diverse teamsStrong leadership, communication, and presentational skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing teamDemonstrated experience in the use of advanced digital planning and forecasting toolsStrong understanding of digital planning processes, including AI-driven forecasting, predictive analytics, and machine learning applications in planningThis is a very exciting time at Air New Zealand, and you will be directly involved in shaping our future.
