AMI HomeHub is a wholly owned subsidiary of IAG New Zealand with branches located in the major metropolitan cities of New Zealand and provides market leading home reinstatement services for IAG customers.Role AimEnsure Estimation Team deliver on the 'team aim'Manage Estimation Team staff, upskill and exceed AMI HomeHub standards levelEnsure we exceed client and internal KPI'sManage work levels within the Estimation TeamEstimate all projects accuratelyOther tasks as directed by senior managementResponsibilities IncludeRun weekly/fortnightly team meetings to ensure all jobs are being assessed and estimated as soon as possibleAlways drive profitability with the teamEnsure weekly/monthly quoting targets budgets are met and exceeded.Monthly review with Estimation Manager to review team results and progress.Manage the distribution of jobs so the correct type and volume is maintained per team member, working regionally where required for Estimator/Supervisors efficienciesEnsure job management systems are being used accurately and consistently by all Estimation Team staffCheck Estimation KPI report daily and provide feedback and drive solutions on this as needed by senior management.Enable team to achieve (and exceed) a collected team target by distributing work as required.Aid team members to develop their knowledge and skill levelsManage Estimation Team staff, develop staff skill levels to a consistent standard, run training sessions and create training documentation for Estimation TeamFirst point of contact for escalations from Customers Case Managers and Trade Teams with a collaborative and solution focused outcome.In addition to overseeing the team, you will also be responsible for Estimating claims and managing variations, schedules, progress check-ins etc. as per normal Estimator roles and responsibilities.Skills, Capabilities and ExperienceConducting meetings and leading teamsStrong communicationTime managementPlanning and organization skillsIndustry knowledge of:Products and servicesCustomer specific expectationsSystems/ProcessesSound knowledge and understanding of HomeHub systems and processesKey Personal AttributesPersonal drive to enable the team to achieve maximum potentialFlexibility and tolerance to change, enabling the company and systems to evolveTenacity to lead your team and ensure they give their bestAbility to use initiative and find a solution for our customersHonesty & IntegrityTolerance for PressureCustomer FocusConcern for Excellence
