Your role will involve troubleshooting faults, optimizing system performance, and ensuring emergency power solutions are always ready when they're needed most.
You'll play a key part in delivering projects that enhance backup system capability while maintaining high industry standards.This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll collaborate with management, operations, consultants, contractors, and technical teams to ensure reliability and availability of robust emergency power systems.
You'll oversee fault investigations, develop maintenance strategies, and implement innovative solutions to improve system performance.Please note that this is a fulltime permanent position and will be based at our Hamilton or Huntly locations.About youWe're looking for someone with a passion for electrical engineering and a strong technical background in emergency backup systems.
You'll be an experienced and proactive engineer with the ability to lead projects, improve systems, and contribute to a culture of safety and innovation.Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent trade background specializing in UPS and DC systems3 to 5 years' experience in a heavy electrical/engineering environmentProven expertise in maintenance, operation, and commissioning of generation plant assetsStrong experience with UPS and DC systemsProject management experience with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.At Genesis, we value your wellbeing and your contribution to our team.
