This role offers the opportunity to showcase your expertise while collaborating on major projects across Australia and New Zealand.As our new Electrical Engineer – Transmission Lines, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable infrastructure, helping to design and deliver major projects with a focus on carbon neutrality and long-term resilience.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the team to define project scope, prepare deliverables, and provide regular progress updates.Deliver cost-effective designs that align with industry, company, and client standards.Generate design criteria, reports, design verifications, and clearance tables using PLS-CADD.Build and refine pole and tower models for PLS-CADD designs.Develop construction assembly drawings, select materials, and create structure loading packages for vendor submissions.Participate in internal and external meetings to support project processes and decision-making.Aurecon's Energy & Industrial team in Aotearoa is dedicated to shaping a sustainable and resilient future by delivering innovative solutions across the energy and industrial sectors.
With a focus on renewable energy, decarbonisation, and advanced industrial practices, our multidisciplinary team leverages cutting-edge technology and deep industry expertise to tackle complex challenges.What are we looking for from you?The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience designing and engineering transmission lines, ideally from an engineering consultancy environment.Alongside This, You Will Have The FollowingA bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.Be Proficient in PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole and PLS-Tower.Knowledge and understanding of engineering standards that apply to transmission design such as ASNZS7000.Able to perform transmission line engineering work independently.What's in it for me?You really can bring your whole self to work and be confident that your voice will be heard.
