The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team as the Technical Authority for Emergency Power Solutions. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of UPS and DC backup systems across our generation schemes. Your expertise will drive fault troubleshooting, system optimization, and maintenance strategy development to ensure emergency power solutions are always ready when needed most.
Your Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot faults and optimize system performance
- Develop maintenance strategies and implement innovative solutions to improve system reliability
- Collaborate with management, operations, consultants, contractors, and technical teams to ensure high industry standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent trade background specializing in UPS and DC systems
- 3-5 years' experience in a heavy electrical/engineering environment
- Proven expertise in maintenance, operation, and commissioning of generation plant assets
- Strong experience with UPS and DC systems
- Project management experience with a focus on delivering quality outcomes
