Te aheinga: The opportunity As the Senior Wellbeing and Safety Coordinator (Rohe 1), you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Wellbeing and Safety Lead and the wider team.
You will grow your wellbeing and safety expertise within a supportive environment, and you will contribute to a healthy and safe workplace for hundreds of people.
This position will support both locally and at a regional level across Rohe 1, which encompasses our divisions in the Tamaki Makaurau | Auckland and Te Tai Tokerau | Northland regions.
This role will be primarily based at our Unitec Mount Albert Campus but travel across the Rohe will be required.

Providing high-quality administration and coordination support.Drafting and preparing papers and reports.Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.Coordinating meetings, projects, activities, and events.Being the first point of contact for wellbeing and safety queries.Delivering compliance monitoring and reporting.Administering wellbeing and safety systems.Contributing to the development of frameworks, policies, and standards.Minimum Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Human Resources, Health and Safety, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.Experience in a wellbeing or health and safety team.Strong building and maintaining relationship skills.Ability to communicate well (written and oral).Attention to detail and accuracy.Knowledge of the vocational education sector is advantageous.Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in the workplace.Ability to promote equity and prioritise the needs of priority groups.Tono mai: How to Apply:
