In this position you will lead and enhance organisational payroll processes, with a specific focus on ensuring compliance with New Zealand's Holidays Act 2003.About the roleYou will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Holidays Act 2003, including leading audits to confirm adherence to the legislation. This includes reviewing historical payroll records to identify and resolve any non-compliance issues.A key part of your role will involve evaluating existing payroll processes to identify areas for improvement. You will recommend and implement changes aimed at enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and compliance, with a focus on automation and best practices.You will collaborate with internal teams, payroll software vendors, and external consultants to ensure systems meet legislative requirements and prepare regular reports.
