We are on the hunt for an extraordinary **Global Payroll Specialist** ready to take centre stage in guaranteeing precise and prompt payroll processing globally
Reporting to our Global Payroll Manager, you will play a critical role in our payroll and wider finance teams by leading the charge in global payroll operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and legislation, all while spearheading initiatives for process enhancement.
**What will you be doing?**
- Managing end-to-end payroll processes for multiple subsidiaries and reviewing other payrolls in a multi-jurisdictional environment, whilst ensuring accuracy across base wages, deductions, bonuses, and allowances.
- Identifying and leading projects to enhance payroll processes and efficiency.
- Collaborating with external outsourced providers for seamless payroll delivery.
- Preparing submissions for tax authorities and meeting all statutory payroll requirements.
- Safeguarding payroll data accuracy, quality, and security while supporting payroll systems audits.
- Acting as the first point of escalation for employee queries on payroll and leave matters as they arise.
- Assisting with internal and external business reporting requirements.
- Contributing to monthly and year-end accounting processes related to payroll.
**What will you bring?**
**Experience**:You have extensive experience in processing payrolls, ideally for multiple jurisdictions, within a global payroll team environment. You have prior experience (or are keen to get exposure) in payroll system migration.
**Skills**:Naturally, you have strong attention to detail and prior experience with payroll systems; we use MyPay, ADP and Netsuite but no need to know these now, we will train you
**Characteristics**:You have an initiative-driven mindset, proactive problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. You often seek out areas for improvement and do not shy away from a challenge.
