We operate on a 24-hour, 7 days a week basis, so preference will be given to applicants who are available over the full range of day, night, and weekend shifts.This is a busy and demanding role, being the initial point of contact for patients arriving at the Emergency Department and ensuring patient management systems are accurately updated and processes carried out in a timely manner.As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement, this role has been mapped to National Band 4/Profile 4A.In this role you will be responsible for:Administration of Te Whatu Ora patient management systemPrioritising competing admin tasks for efficient patient flowProcessing patient information, records, and Accident Compensation informationShowing respect and maintaining confidentiality of informationProviding great customer service to patients, staff, and whanauHaving empathy, being calm under pressure, and attentive to detailAbout the Team/Service
