The first project for delivery under this role is the Tauhei Solar Farm, a 200MWp solar farm in the Waikato region.Working within standalone construction management projects or as part of an EPCm (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction management) team, you will oversee the project's entire lifecycle, ensuring that it is completed within scope, on schedule, at the highest quality, and within budget.You'll be joining a dynamic and growing team of experienced professionals based in New Zealand, contributing to the development and growth of New Zealand's renewable energy sector.Position ResponsibilitiesProject Management and ExecutionLead the day-to-day construction activities, managing coordination between the Client/Principal and Contractors.Oversee the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) processes, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.Manage project meetings, including scheduling, leading, and documenting discussions and decisions.Coordinate stakeholder engagement, including landowners and local community interactions.Oversee the organization of construction documentation, such as contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders.Evaluate commercial, financial, environmental, social, and technical factors, making informed decisions with input from relevant team members.Make recommendations regarding settlement of any claims by contractors.Assess project risks, implementing mitigation measures to minimize delays and challenges.Track project progress, managing timelines, payment milestones, and overall project performance.Review and approve the Contractor's Risk Management Plan, ensuring all risks are adequately identified and mitigated.Manage and report on variation claims with contractors in line with contractual timeframes and obligations.

Engineering degree), and Project Management Certification (e.g.
