Job Description:

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced construction manager with a strong background in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) to oversee the execution of our renewable energy projects in Auckland.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the construction phase of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and other sustainable energy installations.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project timelines and financial constraints.
  • Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Manage procurement processes, including the selection and negotiation of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong background in EPC project delivery, with a proven ability to manage complex construction projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
