This key Health and Safety Administrator position will play a vital role in supporting EnerMech New Zealand's health and safety practices and ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. The role involves administrative and operational duties related to workplace safety, risk management, and the overall well-being of employees. This role is part-time and ideal for someone looking for flexibility and a challengeDuties include:Assist in ensuring the organization complies with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and other relevant legislation.Maintain up-to-date records of health and safety policies, procedures, and hazard registers. Requirement to assist in the arrangement of training, where necessary. Ensure that health and safety documentation is kept in accordance with legislative requirements.Promote a positive safety culture and encourage employee participation in health and safety initiatives.Assist with regular health and safety audits and site inspections to ensure a safe working environment.Monitor safety practices and report any non-compliance or unsafe conditions to relevant personnel.Assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions following inspections or audits.Requirements:The ideal candidate will be motivated to continuously improve processes and procedures, have the ability to positively influence others in the workplace, and hold a high level of integrity and ethical conduct.If you are organised, love working within a team, and you're looking for flexibility in your work life, apply todayApply online for this role or contact EnerMech for more information.
