We are seeking a versatile recruitment coordinator to join DOC's Recruitment Team on a fixed term or secondment basis.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in Recruitment and/or Human Resources, who want to join a positive, fun team environment to support conservation outcomes.
The position will be focussed on: * Managing recruitment activity in our eRecruitment system (Springboard) * Onboarding of staff, including adhering to HR processes and policies, producing, sending, and receiving offer letters and documentation * Coordinating pre-employment checks and vetting * Supporting with advertising roles and booking candidates in for interviews * Working in a fast paced and high-volume team environment * Building rapport and communicating with candidates and new starters * Providing advice and support to hiring managers and support staff involved in the recruitment process He korero mou: What we are looking for: You will be professional and energetic with proven experience in Human Resources or Recruitment roles.
Experience managing onboarding and vetting of staff would be ideal.
You will be able to hit the ground running and adept at balancing a varied and demanding workload, providing hands on support to your hiring managers and recruitment colleagues.
Ideally you will have:Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems * Great time management skills and the ability to prioritise and juggle competing tasks * Excellent communication skills and ability to create relationships * Decisive and action orientated you can thrive under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced role * A great team player and positive mindset * The adaptability to turn your hand to any task that comes up * A passion for Te Papa Atawhai's Kaupapa is essential as well as understanding of Maori Tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
