About the roleWe are seeking a professional, friendly and enthusiastic administrator to join our team. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week from 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.Situated at our modern hospital reception, the Support Services Administrator plays a vital role in providing a welcoming experience for all. A can-do attitude is essential to provide administrative support across various areas of the hospital as directed. This key position requires a high level of attention to detail and data accuracy to input patient information and surgical booking details into the patient management system.Key responsibilities:Checking patient details and accurately inputting data into the computer system.Preparing patient charts and files.Greeting patients at reception, confirming their details and admitting them into the system.Accepting and receipting patient payments accurately and efficiently.Accepting loan equipment returned from patients.Maintaining a tidy reception and work area.Filing clinical and non-clinical records accurately.Photocopying, printing, binding and laminating.Ordering notes and records from and send completed files to offsite storage.Maintaining stationary, printing supplies, relevant forms, script pads and drug books.To be successful in this role, you will need:An exceptional customer service focus.A high level of discretion and confidentiality.An outstanding telephone manner.A methodical and thorough approach to all administration tasks.The ability to handle a busy, and at times, high-pressure work environment.To be a team player, able to interact positively with other staff.Strong verbal and written communication skills including sound computer skills.Previous experience in a reception or administration role.A professional and tidy appearance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
