As a Customer Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support, ultimately enhancing their overall experience with our brand.
**Key Responsibilities:** 1.
**Customer Interaction:** - Serve as the first point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries via telephone, email, and live chat.
- Address customer concerns and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints gracefully and effectively, seeking to resolve issues promptly.

**Product Knowledge:** - Maintain a thorough understanding of Sonic Automotive's products and services to provide accurate information to customers and respond to queries with confidence.
- Keep current on promotions, updates, and new offerings to effectively communicate relevant information to customers.

**Documentation & Reporting:** - Record and track customer interactions and feedback using our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Compile reports on customer interactions, trends, and common issues to assist in improving service quality.

**Collaboration:** - Work closely with sales, technical support, and product teams to relay customer feedback and improve service delivery.
- Participate in training and development sessions to enhance customer service skills and product knowledge.
5.
**Adapting to Change:** - Embrace a culture of change by remaining flexible and open to new initiatives and processes that enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate resilience in high-pressure situations to maintain a positive customer experience.
**Requirements:** - **Experience:** - A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer support or related role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- **Personality Traits:** - Reliable: Demonstrated punctuality and dependability in previous roles.
- Adaptable: Ability to thrive in a changing environment and quickly adjust to new processes.
- **Soft Skills:** - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong people management abilities with an emphasis on building relationships and fostering collaboration.
- **Technical Skills:** - Proficient in using CRM software and basic office applications (e.g.
Microsoft Office).
- Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to provide technical support related to products.
