Robotic Character Animator

Job Description We're keen to hear from Robotic Character Animators
Working closely with a team of mechanical, software and electrical engineers to bring humanoid and creature robots to life through animation, our Robotic Character Animators: Develop and implement animation content for robotic characters, ensuring realistic and fluid movements Produce animation data (including key-frame animation, retargeted motion capture data and generative animation) Contribute to developing interactive and behavioural dynamics for robot characters You can find out more details in our position description here .
We're seeking expressions of interest from people who have the following skills 5+ years' experience in character animation Familiarity with animation for robotics or animatronics Proficiency in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Blender, Maya) Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine for real-time animation Ideally you'll also have a familiarity with motion capture data and its application to robotics, as well as knowledge of sensor-based interactivity and its integration with character animation.
