We are looking for a passionate, experienced Centre Manager to lead our vibrant centre in Northcote. You will lead a team of dedicated teachers and support staff ensuring the highest quality care and education for our children. 

This meaningful role is in a not-for-profit setting. The centre is well established and prides itself on fostering a nurturing, supportive and collaborative environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years old. Licenced for 42 children, we have a strong community focus, working closely with families to provide the best possible start for our tamariki.

WHAT WE OFFER:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring regulatory and licensing compliance

  • Maintain strong communication and positive environment with families and the community
  • Manage enrolments and staffing rosters 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Fully certificated teacher with a B Ed, or Diploma in ECE
  • Proven Management experience within an Early Childhood Setting
  • Sound knowledge of ECE regulations, Professional Teaching Standards, and relevant curriculum documents
  • A passion for fostering nurturing and inclusive learning environments
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
