With a strong focus on Nursing workforce transformation in alignment with National and Regional strategic priorities, this role is essential in shaping the Nursing team across Hospital and Specialist Services in the Bay of Plenty.As a part of the Toi Ora Nursing leadership group, this role will embed Te Tiriti o Waitangi into systems and solutions across the Nursing Workforce portfolio and support the growth and development of Nursing.The Nurse Leader Workforce Development and Learning will lead and direct the Practice Development Group across the organisation. We are offering a permanent full-time role working 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week).This position suits an experienced nursing workforce leader who both fosters and demonstrates collaboration, courage and innovation in pursuit of Pae Ora transformation. You will actively contribute to and support the development of a Toi Ora competent nursing workforce for Te Hauora a Toi – Bay of Plenty and will require experience in the application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi into health systems and processes.Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatāne. We serve a population of approximately 308,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki.
