We are seeking a Kaituitui Tuarā Taonga | Trust Coordinator based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington). So that the foundations of ancestral lands may be solid, benefitting Māori from our past, present and future alike. This is Te Tumu Paeroa, guardian, support and advancer of the mana of Māori land everywhere. Our role is to provide professional trustee services for Māori. We do this by carrying out the terms of trusts and ensuring the whenua is protected and enhanced for future generations. As a Trust Coordinator, you’ll support the Trust team in managing a portfolio of whenua Māori trusts and fostering seamless collaboration. You’ll play a key role in trust administration, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring high standards of service delivery. This is an exciting role that requires occasional travel. The main responsibilities of this role will include: Build strong relationships with your team, trustees, landowners, and stakeholders. Prepare for and support trust meetings and Māori Land Court hearings. Manage trust documentation, applications, and follow-up activities. Creation of meeting materials, including meeting invitations, presentations and reports, and provision of supporting documentation Resolve queries and contribute to continuous improvement. Updating core administration systems in accordance with our processes. Support professional development and contribute to team planning. He kōrero mou | What we are looking for? An ability to build relationships both internally and externally through open and clear communication, both verbal and written Excellent time management and organisational abilities. At least 2 years of proven experience in a customer service or administration role within a medium to large organization. A genuine care for customers, with exceptional customer service skills. Resilient, flexible and can think on your feet. A friendly and approachable nature, you enjoy being part of a high performing team Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.
