Architectus are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer who will share our passion for design to join our Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland Studio. In this client-facing, project leader role, you’ll be overseeing projects from inception to completion, driving delivery outcomes, fostering client relationships and mentor teams across a range of project typologies including Workplace, Tertiary, Health and Living Sectors. With strong design and strategic thinking skills you will: Have a collaborative nature and approach to design Lead through all project phases, from pitch to execution. Assist and / or lead in the development and implementation of design concepts, including in project briefing, predesign and conceptual design. Develop and present design concepts that combine creativity and functionality. Manage client relationships and actively participate in networking. Oversee project documentation and ensure timely completion of projects. Coordinate effective project delivery, including overseeing procurement and construction delivery. Strong leadership, presentation, and project management skills Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, values-driven studio culture. Key skills & qualifications will include: Track record of leading and delivering large-scale, high-quality interior architecture projects across workplace strategy, design and delivery Minimum 10 years of experience with a strong portfolio in workplace design Excellent verbal, written and graphical communication skills Good knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of materials, fittings, finishes, codes, and standards. A degree in Interior Architecture, Spatial Design or Architecture or qualification equivalent Excellent proficiency in design software (Revit, Adobe Creative Suite) Why join Architectus?
